The Chess Family, Chess, Chess Multi, and Chess ActiveZone are spring systems that provide a cocooning sensation when you lie down in the bed. The alternating high and low springs create an invitingly comfortable surface, combined with fantastic pressure relief.

Features
With two different spring heights, a dreamily inviting, soft surface is achieved. The dual heights create a broader range of initial comfort. Chess is designed to offer all the essential characteristics of a truly excellent bed.

The taller springs manage the first centimeters of spring travel— that crucial moment when you lie down. You gently sink in, and then the shorter springs engage, providing support through the midrange of the spring travel.

You can choose if you like the springs positioned flat on the side facing downwards if you are designing a single sided bed. For double sided mattresses we recommend centered short springs.

The idea behind the superiour surface softness comes from coils in two different heights. Every second coil makes a chessboard pattern which gives you a very soft and nice touch.

Chess Original™
The standard variant, available in two heights and with several choices in terms of spring turns. To fine-tune the spring unit, you can also adjust with different wire gauges.

Chess Multi™
If you’re looking for more springs per square meter, Chess Multi is your choice. It offers the same features as the Original but with increased material for a delightful feeling of weight and solid build quality.

Chess ActiveZone™
For even more dynamic support, opt for Chess ActiveZone. It features springs with higher pre-tension, providing a slightly firmer initial feel that balances well when the shorter springs engage. This variant performs best with slightly thinner wire dimensions.
